Meet your Host
Let’s start by leaving the formality of wine behind. The first thing that Roberto Erb is going to ask you is to call him Tito. He is a Certified Wine Judge (CWJ), a Certified Level II Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). As an experienced wine educator, making wine approachable is unquestionably Tito’s signature style. He shares his knowledge and experience in a fun way to create a true discovery journey for people. That is why he started Discover FLX Wineries. This new venture is dedicated to supporting and promoting the up-and-coming hidden gems of our region.
About the Experience
This interactive experience is for those that want to learn how the pros interact with wines.
Tito will guide you on how to use all your senses to learn the key characteristics that influence how a wine is perceived. Before diving into the wines we’ll take a step back to understand the different senses. After that you will learn how sight, smell, taste and touch play a role in the DNA of a wine. As a result, concepts like structure, primary and secondary aromas, flavors, complexity and mouthfeel will be easy to understand. Moreover, everything we learn will be set in the context of grape varieties, growing conditions and winemaking techniques.
You will taste 6 distinct super premium wines as benchmark examples of different characteristics. The tasting will be accompanied by a variety of house-made gourmet tartines showcasing local foods. Trying these unique snacks with the wines creates the perfect opportunity to talk about some food & wine pairing basics.
You will never see wine the same again after spending time with Tito!

Booking & Cancellation
Availability is limited to only 10 seats per session. Hence the need to book in advance. Price includes Hospitality Fee.
*Due to the presenter having to travel to Once Finger Lakes exclusively for this experience is that we need a minimum of 6 guests. If the day before the experience takes place the minimum number of seats are not pre-booked, the experience will unfortunately be cancelled.
Cancellations made 8 or more days in advance of the experience date, will receive a 100% refund. If cancelling within 7 to 4 days of the experience date, you will receive an Once Finger Lakes gift card for 50% of the booking. Finally, in the event that you need to cancel within 3 days of experience date, it will not be eligible for a refund.
